Use of air cargo transport by a chosen company

The thesis deals with air cargo transport and its use by a chosen company. The theoretical part gives detailed information on air cargo transport and its providers. The practical part focuses on the use of air cargo transport by a specific company. It describes a system for orders processing and dispatching. The system is demonstrated on an example of a consignment transported by air to Bolivia. The possible improvements of the system are suggested. The practical part also analyses the transport of all consignments within the specific period. The data are used for introducing the company to several transport companies aiming to enter cooperation. The offers received from the transport companies are compared and evaluated.

Traffic and development of airport Zagreb

The aim of this master's thesis is to analyse the project Zagreb Airport Cargo City. Project Zagreb Airport Cargo City deals with the building of the new cargo terminal at airport Zagreb Pleso. The theoretical part describes the country and characteristics of the transport sectors in the country, which aims mainly to cargo transport and its concern. The next part deals with detailed description of the whole project Zagreb Airport Cargo City. There are also mentioned statistics in this part, that are very important to introduce the whole project in the most comprehensive way, because there is not any similar project like this one. At the end of this part is mentioned the current situation of the project. Last chapter contains the practical part. There is a SWOT analysis of the whole project. Based on this analysis, the project is evaluated. As a part of the practical part are also the analysis of possibility of future development.

Air Cargo HUBs and Corridors

Dissertation thesis Air Cargo HUBs and Corridors deals with air cargo transport and HUB and Spoke technology and it is focused on Václav Havel Airport Prague. The purpose of this disseration thesis is to present air cargo transport with all its specifics, to explain application of HUB and Spoke technology in air cargo transport and location of the most important air cargo HUBs. This thesis searches for an answer to a question whether Václav Havel Airport Prague can be considered an air cargo HUB. To meet the target methods of research, analysis, description and comparasion were used. On the basis of assessment of current situation, nowadyas it is not possible to consider Václav Havel Airport Prague an air cargo HUB. An entrance of a new air cargo carrier, a reinforcement of current connections and the construction of parallel runway indicate an increase in transported air cargo, depending on positive economic development.

This Bachelor thesis deals with air transport of special goods. This thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part provides a summary of air cargo transport and special commodities. The thesis gives information about important aspects that must be observed during the transport of special goods. The second part is about the utilization of air freight in a global world. The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate the utilization of air freight in the Czech Republic and the EU and evaluate which types of goods are mainly transported by the air. The analysis, based on the statistical data from the transport yearbooks, evaluates the main goal of this thesis.
